Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Analytiqo collects when you use analytiqo.com.au or contact us, why we collect it, where it is stored, and the choices you have. It is deliberately short and specific to what this website actually does.

Who we are

Analytiqo is a digital systems studio based in Melbourne, Australia. We design and build websites, apps, booking systems, automation, analytics and AI workflows for businesses in Australia and overseas.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are located outside Australia, we apply the same standards to your information.

This policy covers analytiqo.com.au, including the Chinese-language version, and the ways you can contact us from it. It does not cover the websites and systems we build for clients, which are governed by each client's own privacy policy.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you give us or that is generated when you use the site.

  • Enquiry form: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, an optional budget range, your project summary, the language you were browsing in, and the time you sent it.
  • Discovery-call bookings: if you book a call through our scheduling link, Cal.com collects your name, email address, chosen time and any notes you add, and shares them with us.
  • Direct contact: anything you choose to send us by email, phone or WeChat.
  • Working together: contact details, invoicing information and the project data needed to deliver the work, as agreed in our proposal or contract.
  • Website usage: page views, referring site, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling, collected through the analytics tools described below.
  • Technical logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

Analytics and cookies

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

  • Umami: a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you across other websites. It records page views and events such as button clicks and form submissions, but never the content you type.
  • Microsoft Clarity: records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolls and mouse movement) as heat maps and anonymised session replays. Clarity sets first-party cookies to recognise a browsing session and masks text entered into form fields by default. Microsoft describes its handling of this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

The site itself does not set cookies for functionality, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will keep working.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or quote, and schedule calls.
  • To deliver, support and invoice the work we do together.
  • To send you an automatic confirmation when you submit the enquiry form.
  • To understand which pages and services people find useful and to fix problems with the site.
  • To detect spam and protect the site from misuse.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing newsletters. We only email you about your enquiry or project unless you ask for something else.

Where your information is stored and who can see it

Only the Analytiqo team can access enquiry and project information, and only for the purposes described above. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and communicate with you:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and stores enquiry-form submissions in encrypted storage.
  • Resend delivers the enquiry email to us and the confirmation email to you.
  • Cal.com handles discovery-call bookings.
  • Microsoft Clarity and our self-hosted Umami instance provide analytics.
  • Google provides our business email and document storage, where correspondence and project files are kept.

These providers operate globally, so your information may be processed on servers outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We select providers with strong security practices and share only the minimum needed for them to perform their service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, generally no longer than 24 months from our last contact, unless we start working together. Project and invoicing records are kept for the period required by Australian tax and business law. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. You can ask us to delete your enquiry details at any time.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are stored encrypted at rest, access is limited to the people who need it, and the enquiry form includes spam protection. No system is completely secure, so if you ever suspect your information has been mishandled, contact us and we will investigate promptly.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop contacting you.

Email info@analytiqo.org and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Social media and third-party links

Our site links to our profiles on LinkedIn, X and GitHub, and to external services such as Cal.com. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and we do not control how they use your information.

Where we use LinkedIn's or other platforms' tools to publish content or view statistics for our own company pages, we only access our own page content and aggregated audience statistics. We do not collect or store personal information about individual followers or members.

Children

Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices or tools change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here.
